Kidsgrove Rotary and The King's Academy Projects
Latest News
The Rotary Club of Kidsgrove was founded in 1969 and is a member of Rotary International (R.I.) which began in 1905 (Chicago USA) and is the world's largest humanitarian service organisation. Our motto is 'Service Above Self'.
We are a mixed gender club, meeting on the first Wednesday of the Month at The Red Bull Pub (when appropriate). At these meetings we may have an outside speaker, or discuss and plan our projects and voluntary work in the community. Whilst we may support national and international projects the majority of our work is for the individual or groups of all ages and is centred locally.
We support The Kings Academy and work in partnership with the school to provide a wide range of opportunities for the students and the community.
About Rotary
Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Solving real problems takes real commitment and vision. For more than 110 years, Rotary's people of action have used their passion, energy, and intelligence to take action on sustainable projects. From literacy and peace to water and health, we are always working to better our world, and we stay committed to the end.
What We Do

Grow local economies
Get involved
Our Mission
We provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.
Vision Statement
