Here, you will find information on upcoming external examinations for Year 10, 11, 12 and 13 as well as information on internal examinations taking place in the academy and an important overview timeline for externally assessed coursework activities.

Coursework Overview Timeline

We recognise that it is good practice, when setting coursework, to ensure that our students are informed about the following:

• how coursework fits into the assessment of the course, ie percentage of overall marks available;

• the criteria for assessment of the coursework;

• the expectations in terms of time to be spent in the production of coursework;

• a clear schedule of deadlines for drafted work as well as the final deadline for production of completed work.

To this end, we have created a number of documents for our current Year 10 students which outlines coursework expectations and time frames.
