Port Vale FC Foundation

Here at The King’s Academy, we are delighted to be working alongside the Port Vale Foundation to provide enrichment opportunities for our Young people. To ensure Port Vale Foundation is at the heart of our school we have staff and student ambassadors for our young people to ask any questions about how the foundation can support them.

Mentoring Programme

Port Vale Foundation have provided mentoring to some of our students to support with improving their attitude to learning and increase engagement. Students met weekly with a mentor from Port Vale and took part in various workshops to raise aspirations and increase their positive points in the Academy. As a reward, students were invited to Port Vale to take part in a careers talk, stadium tour and activities

Well Done to all those that took part

Football and Education programme

Here at The Kings's Academy, we are delighted to work alongside Port Vale to deliver the Football and Education programme to our Sixth Form students. This is an amazing opportunity for keen footballers to play the game they love whilst also benefitting from gaining qualifications and taking part in enrichment opportunities that Port Vale offer. Further information can be found on the Sixth Form section on our website.

Our Sixth Form Football and Education students are raring to go in their kits this year along with Mrs Hinchcliffe. We are really proud to be able to offer this initiative due to our ongoing partnership with Port Vale FC Foundation

If you have any questions please contact either Mrs Hinchcliffe ( or Mrs Degg (
