Years 7 & 8

Our Key Stage 3 provision is built on a strong academic core based around the National Curriculum. Students are taught in ability groups for the core subjects. All students are taught:

Art, combined science, computer science, design & technology, drama, English, geography, history, mathematics, music, physical education, religious education, RSHE and Spanish.

Year 9

In Year 9, students undertake the same curriculum as Year 7 and 8 with the option to continue studying both geography and history or to choose to specialise in just one of these humanities subjects.

Our curriculum provides a secure foundation and gives students a rich experience of different subject disciplines to help them make informed decisions regarding which subjects to continue in Key Stage 4.

Students who require extra support are offered help via a wide range of interventions in school.
