Maths and English Catch up
If your child is in Year 7, 8 and 9 they may have access to Lexia Power Up and IDL Numeracy. Please check with your child.
Lexia Power Up supports students with their reading, spelling and grammar. User names and passwords have been issued to students who we have identified as benefitting from this extra catch up provision. It is recommended that students access this provision at least 3 x 20 minutes per week.
IDL Numeracy is similar though it is designed to support students who need to catch up with their basic number work skills. Like Lexia Power Up it is recommended that students access this provision at least 3 x 20 minutes per week.
Both platforms work intrinsically with your child providing immediate feedback and they adjust the level of challenge as they work through the activities.
If your child has forgotten their login or is unsure whether they have access to Lexia Power Up and IDL Numeracy please send an email to Amanda Nevard, Deputy SENDCo at anevard@thekings.staffs.sch.uk
