WATCH ME LEARN Computer science
Parents and carers were invited into the academy to watch their year 8 children in a computer science lesson. The parents were able to work alongside their child to learn about a software called Inkscape and use this software to create vector images. The students were using skills they have be learning over the previous lesson.
The parents gave positive feedback indicating that the adults really enjoyed being back in the classroom and that our students experience high quality, engaging teaching that our students experience at The King’s Church of England Academy.
"There was a lot of discussion, students were helping each other, and they seemed to find it fun.”
"It was good to see leaning in progress!”
“The staff member had great control of the room”
